Robota is a Japanese cloud solution that specializes in the accounting and finance field, digitizing invoices using advanced AI-OCR Technology. Robota helps accelerate and optimize accounting processes, enabling companies to digitally transform their accounting process and allowing work to be done from outside the office.
Remota is a service that connects you with Robota and allows you to digitize, review, and send invoices to Concur Invoice. You can simply upload invoices to a specific Box folder or email an attached invoice to a specific email address to upload the invoice to Remota. This email functionality allows you to use the “scan to email” function on your scanner/printer to send invoices directly to Remota.
Once scanned, Remota will read the information on the invoice such as; date of issue, billing amount, tax amount, issuer name, billing information, invoice number, etc., and not only digitize the information, but will also check if the digitized data is reliable. Remota allows you to upload a supplier list and will check the detected data against the list. You will be alerted if the supplier is not on the list, details are incorrect, or if the amount is out of the pre-set amount range. Remota will then send the details and invoice to Concur Invoice for streamlined and easy processing.
